not much to say cause i dont wanna spoil stuff cause i might write up something for plot: The Forest was in despair and disarray. Inhabitants disrespected the natural order, feasting on everything and everyone. There was no system, no key predators, no protection, no safety, and no unity. The Forest, starting to shrivel and decay from the lack of health in its environment made a wish. Together, it wished for a being that could bring about a time of prosperity and save everyone, make it bloom with flowers, bring about life, to make this place a home! And so, a little fox was born. Able to change sizes and shapes but keep her appearance, Ashling wandered the Forest. Settling disputes, making things fair, making sure everyone had food, a home, love, and safety. She brought about Spring, creating life, bringing colour, and making the world bright and alive. The Forest was so happy to have a Forest Spirit, a Guardian, to protect them. Someone took advantage of this. Due to unknown circumstances, Ashling became furious due to a betrayal from someone within The Forest. She begged what was essentially her family for help. Scared to interfere, The Forest turned away and remained silent to all of Ashling's pleas. Letting the torment corrupt her heart, she let it turn ice cold. Now, for a few months out of the year, she brought about death and devastation to The Forest. Bringing Winter when it used to be eternal Spring. Who could even fix this and bring about that everlasting light...? Who would be the one to fix the fox's little heart?
