He's already stopped looking like a dwarf since the Plague Meteorite stuff. The dragonworld curse just nudged that even farther. After becoming a beast, his broken hatchet is no longer lodged into his once-dead right hand, but he still carries it around, perhaps out of maintaining a consistent self-image.
