For pawceptions - you can now set minimum word count for prompts (default is now 5 instead of 10), number of turns between each user submitting a turn, expiry date (how long since the last turn submitted until the game closes by itself), if you/staff can end the game early, and the ability to claim drawing turns for 24 hours so you don't have to worry about someone else taking your turn. The default expiry is 1 week, so some old games got yeeted into oblivion due to inactivity already.
For suggestions - dislike count is now hidden for everyone except for me, you can suggest stuff anonymously, and you're able to edit your own suggestions (until they're accepted/rejected)
Suggestions System
2025-10-24T20:43:14 | 9 comments
I'll be able to accept/reject suggestions and give a little note on them to say why.
Sorry about the quick succession of updates, I was working on this alongside the last bug fixes but wanted to get those out sooner!
Various Fixes
2025-10-24T20:03:55 | 4 comments
- Fixed the create raffle button not showing up for Level 2+
- Login/register should now keep you on whatever page you were on instead of yeeting you back to the homepage.
- Requests now have a setting to require a user to be following you in order to accept a request.
- Fixed an issue where pawceptions weren't allowing enough words in a prompt.
- NSFW pawprints and flipbooks can now be viewed directly by the view URL without needing to be logged in after accepting a content warning, for sharing purposes.
Guest Pawprints
2025-10-15T19:58:31 | 7 comments
With how pawprinting has grown, I'm ready to bring it back. In your user settings under visibility, you will find a new setting for allowing guest pawprints. This will let anyone, account or no, to draw on your profile - link people directly to your draw page from anywhere on the internet and they'll be able to draw for you anonymously or with a guest name they can set. They will not have drafts saved or loaded, but that's a trade-off for not having an account.
Any pawprints sent this way will be unconfirmed, and you will have to confirm them for it to show up publicly. As this is opt-in and people can't just spam your profile, I feel like it's a lot safer to bring this feature back now.
Another change I did is on confirming pawprints - instead of just a big 'accept' and 'reject' button, it now goes to the settings of the pawprint giving you the opportunity to change tags, make sure the rating is okay, or even hide it if you want.
Settings & Bug Fixes

I fixed an issue with profile journals not loading, and re-added the ability to pan with the space bar.
Pagination & Various Fixes
2025-10-13T23:06:13 | 2 comments
- Drawing code has been refactored to be easier to fix/work with, which caused some of the issues today.
- Fixed some pawprints from private profiles showing up where they shouldn't.
- Stopped notifications being deleted automatically, and they now properly mark as read instead.

Other Changes/Fixes:
- We pink now! New logo/favicon/style. The brown was really boring and corporate so I want to try to spice things up a bit.
- Layers can now be renamed, and don't get automatically renamed when moved around which caused some confusion.
- Fixed donation tabs not showing up if you didn't have any donations, and also showing donations you've made instead of donations you've received.
- Fixed eraser tool not having an initial dot, so you had to drag the mouse/pen in order to erase anything.
- Fixed some older events not having set the winners correctly.
Requests Update
2025-10-11T16:12:46 | 4 comments
There's now a lot more settings in your user settings for requests. You can now:
- Add notes to show people who are making requests, can be used for likes/dislikes!
- Allow anonymous requests (when logged in, you can check a box to hide your name when requesting something)
- Allow/disallow editing seen or pinned requests.
- Allow more than one request per user at a time.
- Set a cooldown between requests, ranging from 1 hour to 1 month.
I've also fixed some stuff with notifications, a lot of them now properly clear when you visit whatever the notification was about.
Remixing

- Raffles now show your request message, and let you edit them if the raffle has not ended yet.
- Latest news / latest event now show up even when the community section on the index is closed, so you always get reminded of what's goin' on.
- Added name/descriptions to flipbooks, same as pawprints.
- Fixed journal notifications repeating the same message.
- Added tooltips to badges on pawprints to let you know what they mean.
- Added extra assurances to make sure people don't modify the canvas and send weird pawprint sizes.
Flipbooks
2025-10-07T13:31:44 | 3 comments
At the start this will only allow up to 16 frames (you can use the same image more than one time, if you wanted a reverse effect) but I may increase this later if needed. Flipbooks will use all the tags combined of each pawprint used, a bit like how pawzzle tags work, and the rating will always be at minimum the highest rated pawprint used - so you can't rate it general/SFW if there's an NSFW pawprint in one of the frames.
- Added the Flipbook system.
- Added a Flipbook tab on the homepage, next to Pawprints.
- Added a Flipbook collection on profiles, to see all flipbooks created by a user.
- Allowed tag/rating editing.
- Added an 'onion skin' selector next to where the parent selector is when drawing pawprints. This will set the background of the canvas to a slightly transparent version of whichever pawprint you select, good for animating.
Other Fixes:
- Fixed default collection not loading on profiles.
- Fixed the bulk pawprint selection.
- XP calculation has been optimised a ton so it's 10 seconds faster to run.
- Text-only pawprints no longer show up on the homepage or count for XP, to stop spam.
- Added new badge conditions so I can make badges for more things.
- Fixed notifications for comments in flipbooks.
- Fixed templates not copying.

Friend System
2025-10-03T00:46:03 | 8 comments
You can send a friend request from anyone's profile, with the new button next to the follow button. The recipient will then be able to accept/deny your friend request, you will receive notifications along the way (unless you get denied, no notification is sent in that case).
Features:
- Ability to send, accept, and decline friend requests.
- Ability to disable friend requests on your profile.
- Ability to set journals and pawprints as friends-only, so they can only be viewed by friends.
- Ability to hide your friends list from your profile for anyone that isn't you.
- Blocking will remove any friend status.
Other Changes:
- There are now view counts for pawprints and journals.
- The tags section of a pawprint is a lot more organised now.

Let me know what you think - I will probably add more to this later.
Raffles!
2025-10-01T13:30:33 | 3 comments
I've also updated the rules and about pages to include raffles and pawzzles. As usual, stuff probably will break, but I've done a bunch of testing and it works well enough from what I tried.
Other Changes:
- Fixed the rules page mentioning SFW/NSFW instead of content rating
- Fixed dark mode styling on raffles
- Fixed pawceptions not letting you create a game
- Raffles are now ordered by 'ending soonest' first
Blur and Blend Modes

As part of the recent overhaul to pawprint drawing, it's been made a lot easier to do stuff like this ^^
Other Stuff:
- Improved search logic so the site doesn't break sometimes.
- Fixed copy/pasting.
- Removed stability from Ironpaw mode.
Pawprints are like onions...
2025-09-28T22:38:40 | 30 comments
- You can create, delete and duplicate layers. Whatever you draw will now affect whichever layer you have selected, much like mainstream drawing programs.
- Drafts will save and load layers, so your drawings won't be accidentally lost.
- Layers will save WITH the pawprint from now on, meaning if you need to edit it in the future, you will always be able to adjust individual layers.
- Each layer has its own opacity slider, letting you do some neat effects. This is also saved with the pawprint + in drafts!
- Copy/paste is now per layer, instead of the whole pawprint.
- There's a new red 'nuke' button that deletes your saved drafts and resets everything to a blank pawprint, in case you wanted to quickly start a new one.
As usual some stuff might be broken. Ironpaw users also will not have access to this system, if you do something is broken, pls let me know!
Changes/Fixes after update:
- Fixed shape tools not working correctly.
- Fixed editing pawprints not loading properly.
- Removed the extra layers panel button from the tools bar, I dunno why it was there.
- Nuke button is now hidden when editing a pawprint.
- Fixed some cases where you'd have no layers and couldn't draw until making one.
- Fixed drafts saving when editing a pawprint.
- Fixed some functionality not working on mobile devices (some buttons, dragging panels etc)
- Added mobile fallbacks for sorting layers, there's now buttons to move layers up or down.
- Fixed copying/pasting on certain mobile devices!
- Improved how the tabs on profiles look, I hope.
Pawprint Update
2025-09-28T06:45:33 | 2 comments
- Login/registration has been updated, it's now a pop-up window instead of a separate page.
- Fixed avatars not setting properly, they were still trying to look for a rating for some reason, even though only SFW ones are allowed.
- Fixed marking not working.
- Fixed account deletions again, removing guides/updates broke it a lil.
- Fixed general not counting as setting a rating when drawing pawprints, causing people to have to pick higher ratings.
- Fixed searches not searching for partial tags (e.g. just 'maple' was returning no results because it was missing the '(xen)' part. Now it should work!)
- Updated the header/sidebar to be a bit prettier. It's very subtle, but icons fit better on there now.
- Removed admin updates because I'm using this journal now.
- Removed guides, they weren't really used and I'm trying to cut bloat from the site. Would rather have a few really good and used features than a lot that aren't used and make the site look like a ghost town!
Collections Overhaul & Bulk Pawprint Settings
2025-09-25T17:36:40 | 2 comments
- You can now set a default collection - this is the one that will show to users who visit your profile by default. Use this to show off your favourite pawprints front and centre! Check out my profile for an example of it in action.
- Collections now have their own settings page with the button where adding a new collection used to be. This allows you to re-order, create, edit, delete and set default collections.
Pawzzle Management
2025-09-25T07:22:58
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the notifications page not correctly deleting individual notifications.
- Fixed pawzzles allowing people to claim multiple tiles but not finish any of them.
- Fixed certain features showing up when editing an event pawprint when they're supposed to be disabled.
- Updated discord notifications to show sfw, mature and adult pawprints that don't have specific tags discord doesn't like.
New rating system, whew
2025-09-24T21:16:18 | 10 comments
General/SFW - For anything non-sexual and non-fetishy.
Mature/R-15 - Suggestive, fetishy, but not outright explicit.
Adult/R-18 - Nudity, sex, anything that'd be in NSFW in the previous system.
Extreme/R-18G - Gore, blood, non-con, scat, anything that'd give a normie a heart attack. I don't count clean diapers as extreme, but dirty ones would fall under here. Watersports is also more of an adult thing, not an extreme thing.
Stuff is probably gonna break, let me know here if anything isn't working as it should. Things that need to be tested (if you're going to do this anyway):
- Creating a pawception game, is it setting the right rating, and does the 'draw' turn lock it to that rating?
- Creating a pawzzle / drawing or editing a pawzzle tile. Is it setting the right rating, and is it locking to that rating?
- Are there any issues seeing the right content anywhere: for example, if a character avatar is Extreme/R-18G, does it still show up for users who have their max rating set to Adult/R-18?
This is a big change, overhauling systems that were in literally on day 1 of pawprinting, so I'm expecting stuff to break.
